Itinerary
Day: 1
Nairobi- samburu
You will be picked up from your hotel in nairobi to take you through the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the northern frontier region of kenya. You will be able to view the sisal and pineapple plantations en-route. You will arrive just in time for lunch at samburu safari lodge tented camp after checking in. Take an afternoon game drive in the park and view several animals including a third of kenyas giraffe species and the rare reticulated giraffe which is only found in the northern parks, gravys zebra blue shanked somali ostrich, beisa oryx, vulture, and guinea fowls among others. Meals and overnight stay are at the lodge.
Day: 2
samburu game reserve
You will have a full day in samburu with morning and evening game drives. After breakfast we will head out for a game drive and see many animals graze. This is a semi-arid park and has got lots of trees, water, and shades which entice wildlife. You will also get to see the famous "big five" that is lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and many more. Meals and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day: 3
samburu-naivasha
Check out and drive out of the park enrout game drive, head to naivasha. Lake naivasha is among the only two fresh water lakes in the rift valley and this lake is known for its great number of bird species. You will check at your hotel, freshen up and in the afternoon take a boat ride in the lake, then in the evening relax at hotel.
Day: 4
naivasha – masai mara
Morning departure from nairobi, transverse (rift valley) across its vast floor to the masai mara game reserve. With its gently rolling grasslands, abundant wildlife and prolific birdlife. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and in the afternoon, a game drive in the conservancy where you might spot great herds of shuffling elephants, zebras clustered in geometric confusion, and sleepy lions resting in the shade of acacia trees.
Day: 5
masai mara whole day
Morning breakfast then proceed to the reserve for a full day game drive and will carry packed lunch. Masai mara is one of unique reserve in kenya. Its offer wildlife, bird life, nature and culture of masai community. On this day you can visit a masai homestead
Day: 6
masai mara –serengeti
Morning breakfast then check out of lodge. Proceed to kenya tanzania border on the isbania crossing border from where our tanzania counterpart will take over for serengeti part. Serengeti offers the largest concentration of animals in the world and will offer you plenty of sight seeing for adventures worth the while.
Day: 7
serengeti whole day
Today will have a full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch. Later on drive back to the lodge for evening at leisure and hot dinner on full board. This day will offer you plenty of wildlife viewing as you will have a full day all for your selves for game drives.
Day: 8
serengeti ngoro ngoro crater
After breakfast, will depart to the ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch which is just 10 miles across, but the floor of this volcanic caldera (which sinks 2,000 feet below the rim) is home to over 30,000 mammals! one of the only places where you can spot all of the "big five" specieslion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephant, and black rhinocerosin just one day, the lush, verdant crater is a must see for any traveler to tanzania. Bird life is also abundant. Spend a half day exploring this natural habitat taking a break to have a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro crater is also called the garden of eden. Later ascend and drive to the lodge for dinner.
Day: 9
ngorongoro -tarangire or lake manyara
After breakfast, drive to lake manyara national park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Size is no hindrance for this park: at only 330 square kilometers, this park packs in the wildlife experience. Bordered by lake manyara and the mighty rift valley escarpment, the lush rainforest, acacia woodland, grassy floodplain and alkaline lake make it home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the legendary tree climbing lion. Later in the evening, drive back to the lodge for evening.
Day: 10
lake manyara – kilimanjaro airport
Morning breakfast and depart to moshi, if your plane is scheduled from tanzania, then drive to kilimanjaro airport if not rest in arusha before proceeding the other day to kenya jomo kenyatta international airport for your home flight. If your flight is in kenya then there will be transfer charges to kenya.
