Itinerary
Day: 1
Fly to kisoro airstrip near southern bwindi
At 6am, you will be picked up from your hotel to transfer to the airport. Flight to kisoro departs at 7am arriving at 8:30am. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be picked up to transfer to your hotel. Have lunch at the lodge. This afternoon, you can opt to relax and appreciate nature by your balcony or go for a community walk, or go visit the batwa community
Day: 2
gorilla habituation experience - gorilla trekking
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. After briefing through the park with the guides you will trek along different trails in search for the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 4 hours following them and learning about each individual gorilla, and how it has progressed. The park rangers will also tell you unique stories about experiences about this particular gorilla family. Later you will return to the starting point. Paced lunch will be provided for you
Day: 3
transfer back to entebbe / fly back to entebbe
Today in the morning after breakfast you will drive to transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight back to entebbe. The flight departs at 9am -9:30 am and arrives at around 11am. Please note that flight times, might change due to weather and therefore you should book onward flights departing anytime after 2pm
