Itinerary
Day: 1
Nairobi - maasai mara national reserve
You will be picked up from nairobi very early in the morning at 06:00 and depart to maasai mara national reserve with a stopover at the great rift valley viewpoint for photos. You will arrive at the gate and begin your game drive until lunchtime where you will proceed to the lodge for checking in and lunch. You can relax until 16:00 and you will begin your evening game drive until sundown.
Maasai mara national reserve is one of the most famous and visited national game reserves in africa. Physical attractions in maasai mara are mara river and its tributaries of which lives more than millions of hippos and crocodiles as well as woodland, bushland, grassland, endless plains, hills, acacia forests, etc.
The reserve is rich in wildlife. It is home to big cats such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, civet cats, and also the best place to see the big five (elephants, buffalo, rhino, lion, and leopard). Other wild animals include zebras, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, antelopes, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, and foxes. 450 birds species have been recorded of which some of them are predatory bird such as eagles and vultures. The park is very famous for ostriches too.
