Itinerary
Day: 1
Arrive entebbe and transfer to transfer to bwindi forest
You will be picked from your hotel/entebbe airport by the company guide or driver and then transferred to bwindi taking kampala-masaka route. Along the way, there are amazing and interesting encounters that give you an insight of the cultural and traditional ways of the local communities for example a stopover at mpambire. This is the centre where local drums are made from. These drums were used to and still act as music instruments for traditional functions especially in the buganda region.
On arrival in mbarara town, visit igongo cultural village for cultural expedition about the traditional ways of banyankole people of western uganda, have your lunch and there after proceed with the safari to bwindi impenetrable national park reaching late rather check in your hotel and rest reserving energy for the next day
Day: 2
gorilla trekking at bwindi and the batwa experience
Today is your big day. After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! the area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. You will see these mighty animals face to face, as a family as well in groups.
If time and energy allows, you may take a community tour to the batwa community after the gorilla tracking. Learn about their culture, way of living and actually get to know why they settled in this place.
Transfer to lake bunyonyi for overnight stay

Activities at lake bunyonyi include canoeing, boat riding, and local tour, swimming, hiking the highlands around the lake, pygmy village tour and much more. Just relax and enjoy and experience a breathtaking nature of lake bunyonyi while listening to bird songs and the tearing water and consequently the feeling of the fresh breeze of the lake. Day: 4
depart bunyonyi and hit the road to entebbe airport
After breakfast, you will tour lake bunyonyi admiring their beauty once again in the morning and see how the lake is covered by mist and admire its beauty. There after you will exit bunyonyi and transfer to kampala. You will pass through kabale town and continue admiring the terraces of this hilly region.
You will also make a stopover in mbarara town for lunch and the next stopover at the equator in kayabwe and have time to take photos and experience being in the worlds northern and southern hemisphere at the same time.
