Itinerary
Day: 1
Transfer from entebbe to ishasha sector
On this day, you will be met by our company driver guide early in the morning from your point of pick up and depart for queen elizabeth national park. You will have lunch en route in mbarara plus, not missing a stopover at the equator. Upon reaching the stunning ishasha sector, you can have an evening community walk around the surrounding natives of queen elizabeth national park or just relax at the lodge with stunning views as you wait for the next day""s adventure.
Day: 2
morning game drive and afternoon game drive in ishasha
After breakfast, you will drive to ishasha side of queen elizabeth national park for your morning game drive. Ishasha is popular for tree climbing lions and chances of seeing them climbing depends on your luck of the day. Ishasha has other animals like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many others. You may also drive to river ishasha to see the border of uganda and democratic republic of congo. Return to the lodge for lunch and then evening game drive in ishasha for more wild animal viewing. You will later check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight
Day: 3
morning game drive in ishasha and transfer to kyambura
On this day, after having breakfast at your lodge in the morning you will get set and be picked by our driver guide and embark on a road trip from ishasha sector to kyambura. You will embark on the game drive that will increase your chance to see tree climbing lions in ishasha. You will be amazed to see them resting on the branches of fig trees during afternoon hours this together with other wild animals and amazing vegetation cover and landscapes. You will have lunch en route as you proceed with the journey to the northern part of the park. Other animals to see include warthogs, topis, african elephants, uganda kobs, cape buffalo and many tropical birds. You will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day: 4
morning game and afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel
Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including buffalos, elephants, lions and other mammals like giant forest hog, bush bucks, kobs, hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along kazinga channel. You will be treated to an awesome sight of elephant herds, buffaloes, antelopes, and thousands of birds including pelicans and african dartas. Not forgetting that the channel has the highest concentration of hippos in uganda. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight
Day: 5
chimpanzee trekking in kalinzu and transfer to entebbe
Have an early morning breakfast and head to kalinzu forest for chimpanzee tracking to meet man""s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Later embark on an exciting road trip back to entebbe with lunch en route, to be dropped at entebbe international airport
