Itinerary
Day: 1
Tarangire national park
You will be picked up from your accommodations in arusha and be driven to tarangire national park. This park is one of the largest national parks in tanzania. Located in the manyara region, this park is well known for the tarangire river which flows year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Later drive to a small town of karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day: 2
Central serengeti national park
After breakfast, you will check-out and drive to serengeti national park in the central seronera. This park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "big five". The serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lion in africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. Serengeti, a unesco world heritage site is also home to hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle who join the wildebeests annual migration for fresh grazing. In the evening, you will check-in at the acacia central camp for dinner and your overnight stay. You will enjoy two safari days in the serengeti national park.

Lake manyara - arusha
After breakfast you will check-out and drive to lake manyara national park. This amazing lake is what ernest hemingway claimed was "the loveliest lae i had seen in africa." the park offers a compact game drive circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves. The lake itself covers two-thirds of the park and the great rift valley provides a stunning backdrop for todays drive. Over 400 species of birds can be found in the park, including thousands of pink-hued flamingo that gather along the lake`s shoreline. You will also see a large number of water birds such as pelican, cormorant, and stork. In the afternoon you will head back to arusha, where you will be dropped off arusha town. This is where your safari will end.
