Itinerary
Day: 1
Nairobi to maasai mara
You will be picked up from your hotel or airport early in the morning and drive through the scenic great rift valley, arriving at mara reserve in good time for lunch. There will be a game drive during the afternoon. The group will return for dinner and overnight at mara sentrim a luxury tented camp or mara aa lodge.
Day: 2
Maasai mara
The group will spend a full day exploring the park in search of the big five. The masai mara game reserve is arguably kenyas most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in kenya. The film out of africa was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the mara.
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles from the serengeti plains across the tanzanian border and the mara river to reach masai mara grazing fields from late june. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early july to august. Also, the reserve abounds with bird life since dose to about 452 species has been recorded.
There will be an optional hot air balloon safari readily available in this park that can be arranged at an extra cost. The group will return for dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
Day: 3

Day: 4
Maasai mara to lake nakuru national park
The group will depart masai mara soon after breakfast and proceed south to lake nakuru, which is often referred to as the pink lake for its great masses of pink flamingos. The group will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drives. Lake nakurus claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds that can be found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the millions of flamingos is quite spectacular, you can see from a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the rothschild giraffe and the black and white rhino. Moreover, lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons are all residents here.
The group will return for dinner and overnight stay at nakuru lodge.
Day: 5
Nakuru to lake naivasha
After breakfast, the group will descend down towards the great rift valley. Arrive at lake naivasha in time for a delicious lunch at the sentrim elementaita lodge or similar. The remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure, with the opportunity of going on a nature walk, hire a boat to take you to the famous crescent island or simply relax by the swimming pool. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day: 6
Lake naivasha, carnivore lunch, and amboseli national park
After breakfast, the group will proceed for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant. Driving past the scenic athi plains and through emali to arrive at amboseli in good time for dinner and overnight at amboseli aa tented lodge. Amboseli park is the second most popular park in kenya after maasai mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of mount. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.
Day: 7
Amboseli national park
Today you will be spending a full day in amboseli with early morning and evening game drives. While in the park, you will have the opportunity to capture photographs of the animals against the wonderful backdrop of mount kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight will be at your lodge.
Day: 8
Amboseli to nairobi
The group will start off with an early morning game drive. Then soon after breakfast, the group will proceed to nairobi where the safari ends.
