Itinerary
Day: 1
Nairobi - maasai mara
You will be picked up from the hotel for orientation at 08:00. You will depart for the masai mara game reserve via the viewpoint of the great rift valley and narok town for lunch. Upon arrival you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp with bed, bedding, electricity, hot showers, and mosquito nets.
Day: 2
maasai mara full day
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day: 3
maasai mara - lake nakuru
Enjoy an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the mara region for nakuru, lunch en route, with scenic views of mount longmont and lake naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the hotel for dinner and overnight there.
Day: 4
lake nakuru - amboseli
After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in lake nakuru national park, known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like cape buffalo and water-buck can be seen near the shoreline. Later, you will drive to amboseli national park. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day: 5
amboseli full day
A day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds, bathing elephants, and hippos. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and mount kilimanjaros peak can be seen if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches and then return to overnight and dinner at the hotel.
Day: 6
Amboseli - nairobi
In the early morning, enjoy game viewing and then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Later, drones africa safari will drive back to nairobi to proceed to mombasa for beach holiday by road. They will drop you off at emali to board a bus to mombasa, or drop you to your hotel.
