Drive from kampala & chimpanzee tracking in kibale forest national park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel and set off for the road trip to kibale national park, located in western uganda. You will reach fort portal town by around mid-day and stopover for lunch either in fort portal town or proceed to the lodge and have lunch. You will arrive to the park in the late afternoon and check into your lodge located just outside the park. After lunch, you will transfer to the park offices for briefing after which you will set off to track a community of chimpanzees. While you trek through the forest you will observe plenty of other wildlife. Other primates which you may spot include red colobus monkey, l`hoest monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and vervet monkeys & about 335 bird species recorded. The trademark pant hoots and loud screams of the chimps and you will spend not more than 1 hour with the chimps. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
drive from kibale back to kampala and cultural emulsion at ndere centre
After breakfast check out of your accommodation and head back to kampala, at ndere centre for your lunch and relax at the cultural centre. Tour around the centre and see the crafts on display as you eagerly wait for the cultural performance by ndere troupe in the evening. Please note that the cultural performances are staged on wednesdays, fridays and sundays.
