Day: 1
Transfer to kibale national park and birding e-route
After morning breakfast drive to kibale national park via mityana-mubende. Enjoy the drive through these beautiful scenic and beautiful regions before reaching the land of beautiful batooro people that lies within this vast tea plantation of tooro kingdom. These buzzling endless green dotted tea plantation gives you a fantastic view for the best travel memory with stop over for lunch at selected restaurant/lodge in fort portal town. Before proceeding to kibale national park check in at the lodge for overnight.

After early morning breakfast drive to kanyanchu visitor centre for briefing to get set to go and search for kibale specials including african pitta, green-breasted pitta, afep pigeon, whit-napped pigeon, crowned eagle, black bee-eater, western nicator, yellow-rumped tinkerbird, little greenbul, brown-chested alethe, blue-breasted kingfisher, african grey parrot, scaly and brown illadopsis. Transfer to semuliki national park. And drive through the distinctive ethnic groups that stay near the park such as bwamba farmers who live along the base of rwenzori mountains, bakonjo also cultivate the slopes, batuku cattle keepers inhabits on the open plains and batwa pygmies. Semuliki valley contains numerous feature associated with central african birds. Bird life is especially spectacular with more than 441 specie recorded representing 40% of uganda""s total bird species.

After early morning breakfast transfer to queen elizabeth national park via fort portal. This drive gives you an opportunity to enjoy the scenic view of rwenzori mountains ranges being extremely humid area and frequently enveloped in clouds gives you the best photo opportunities. Enjoy the green hills of toro that support tea plantations, with rich cultural diversity of batooro, enjoy birding opportunities along the way before reaching kasese town where you will stopover for hot lunch before driving to queen elizabeth national park

morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in queen elizabeth national park.
After breakfast drive to kasenyi plains for a classic african safari experience. Enjoy photograph opportunities and the rwenzori mountains set against the back drop of jagged wildlife viewing, herds of uganda kobs, and prides of lions, guinea fowls and huge elephants striding across the game tracks. Drive to kasenyi crafts village, enjoy the crater salt lake view below kichwamba escarpment and lake george the famous bird sanctuary. Drive to the lodge for lunch and proceed to mweya peninsula for boat ride along kazinga channel; the oasis for the fascinating species that inhabit the park. It gives a chance to cruise just meters from hundreds of enormous hippos and buffaloes and water birds as elephants stride and linger along the banks or shoreline. Mweya is queen""s focal point; jam-packed with birds and animals. Just sit back with your camera and binoculars ready; and enjoy the incredible spectacle. The cruise takes two hours. transfer and birding mabamba swamp
As one drives to mabamba swamp you pass throgh lake mburo national park, be is amazed and impressed by the remarkable scenery that unfolds in sight. The lowlands and grassland savannas gradually give way to the cascading hills that seem never to end. You also enjoy the indigenous long horned ankole cattle in their land of milk and honey before reaching equator.
Uganda is one of the few countries that are traversed by the equator, the imaginary line that divides the earth into two equal halves. This point is about 72 kilometres south of kampala along the kampala "" masaka highway. At this point there are two circles made of concrete marking the equator line which is worth stopping for. You will enjoy the photo session, and proceed to mabamba swamp for shoebill before driving to entebbe.
